I want more characters taking a chance to laugh while finding their way through tough times to happy endings. I wish it was easier to see the stars at night — a better view of that glittering expanse might make us a little nicer and hold each other a little tighter. I live with my almost-perfect nerdy husband Lucas (he doesn’t like comics — inconceivable!) and an aspiring-model calico cat named Annie (she adjusts her pose accordingly when she sees the camera coming) in Madison, Wisconsin.

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Studio Art.
