The Competition Tightens

The hummingbird takes Round #4 and awaits its next match. The competition has tightened, and now we see the Junco face the White-Throated Sparrow. Vote on the NRF site, then comment below with your pick.

Doodling this little hummingbird really made me want a kiwi. They seem pretty similar size. Both a little fuzzy. And that brilliant green… Of course I just went to the grocery store this morning. Alas.

The head “feathers” are bugging me, but one of the great things about trying to do a doodle every day for a week is that I can’t get too hung up on it. Learned a lesson or two and now it’s time to move on.
