Chinatown Pretty: Fashion and Wisdom from Chinatown’s Most Stylish Seniors was one of my Christmas gifts from Lucas and I loved it, soaking up the stories, colors, and patterns over a few nights of reading on dark January nights after gray January days. I highly recommend it.
Chinatown Pretty also had me thinking back to a pair of shoes that long ago graced my closet before meeting a terrible end, plus another pair that required some deep cleaning after one of their few ventures out. Maybe it’s me.
